Dr. Francine Burke graduated from the National College of Chiropractic in 1987 and began her practice in the Western Suburbs of Chicago. The practice of Chiropractic is considered a form of holistic medicine and has a wide and varied scope of practice in Illinois. In 1995, Dr. Burke recognized a limitation to therapies that utilized only physical interventions. The whole person had to be treated and not the disease. Lifestyle and the mental, emotional as well as physical health of a person was paramount. The constitutional susceptibility to disease had to be changed. She found the more complete approach to healing in attending a two-year post graduate program on Homeopathic Medicine at the National College of Chiropractic and became board certified as a Homeopath.
Your health history, symptoms, lifestyle and individual circumstances are considered and respected. The best intervention is then recommended whether it be chiropractic, homeopathic medicine or both. Dr. Burke has worked cooperatively with other chiropractors, homeopaths and medical practitioners for the best interests of her patients. She treats infants, children, pregnant women and adults for a wider range of ailments.
Dr. Burke teaches Homeopathy at the National University of Health Sciences part time in Lombard and has developed a specialty rotation in their patient clinic. She is past president of the Illinois Homeopathic Medical Association in Lombard. Listed in Chicago Magazine, March 2014. She received the honor as a Five Star Professional.
